Monthly Car Rental Contract in Qatar: A Checklist Before You Sign
A monthly rental is a commitment of several weeks or months, so it's worth reading the contract carefully. Here is the checklist we recommend, and how each point works with Infinity Plus, our monthly rental.
1. Duration and price
- Infinity Plus runs from 1 to 12 months, from QAR 1,299 per month.
- The longer the rental, the lower the monthly rate. Check the total for the full period, not just the first month.
2. Mileage allowance
Check how many kilometres are included and the rate for extra kilometres for your car category. It is written in your rental terms.
3. Protection and maintenance
- Basic protection, regular maintenance and 24/7 support are included in Infinity Plus.
- Check the excess (the amount you pay if there is damage) and whether you want extra protection.
4. Security deposit
- Small cars QAR 1,000, medium QAR 1,500, large QAR 2,500.
- We accept any payment method for the deposit, including cash. If you pay by card, the card must be the renter's, or the card holder must be present or added to the contract so we can take their signature.
5. Payment
Check the payment dates for each month and the accepted methods, so there are no surprises in month two.
6. Drivers
Add any other driver to the contract; it's free. Every driver must be 21 or older with a licence held for at least one year.
7. Extension and early return
- To extend, contact us before your return date.
- Unused days are not refunded or kept as credit if you return early, unless your contract says otherwise. Choose a duration you're sure about, then extend.
8. Fines and responsibilities
Traffic fines during the rental are the driver's responsibility, with no admin fee: deducted from the deposit if it covers them, or paid directly on time.
9. Delivery and collection
Collect from our Doha headquarters on C-Ring Road, or ask for delivery to your address for an area-based fee.
